So today's theme is reflection. Nothing abstract, deep and meaningful, or exciting today. Just a pretty little thang having a blast with mommy's red lipstick and a mirror. I remember when I was little- looking into the mirror and being amazed that my reflection did everything I did. Move my left arm- the girl in the mirror moved her right. Smile- and get a smile right back at me. I can only imagine what silly thoughts are going through her head as she looks at her own reflection (and I can't help but see quite a bit of myself in that little curly-headed girl in the mirror). And for fun- the last pic is one of me (taken by my mom) I am guessing I was close to K's age.
I really really really love the first photograph. It's the kind I would frame and hang up in my house if it was my child.

Makes me wish I could put lipstick on Gidster....

ReplyDeleteThe first picture is amazing! I was trying to do something like that with my kids, but the mirrors in my house aren't accessible enough for that. And other than the "dated" clothes, you and K could totally pass as the same person.
